Principle of action of wet granulation mixers:

QUARCO mixer’s principle of action is to mix powder-like materials actively and add the granulating fluid (humidifier) to the obtained blend thus producing medicinal product wet granulate. The Rapid mixing process is performed by synchronous rotation of paddle mixer and chopper; granulation is carried out when humidifier is supplied by pouring or spraying through the nozzle with synchronous rotation of paddle mixer and chopper. Mixer unloads the product when the pneumatic cylinder opens the unloading valve.

Mixing and granulating operations may be united thus decreasing the run time. Notwithstanding differences in density or particle size of the used powder, mixing and granulation may be carried out within the short time.
